Ata Health Anesthesia and Intensive Care team consists of 4 doctors. All types of surgeries can be performed in our hospital, except for cardiovascular surgery.
The number of intensive care beds in our hospital is 15, 8 of which are beds for severe patients, which we call 3rd step, and 7 of which are beds for medium level patients, which we call 2nd step. Of these 15 beds, 2 of them are intensive care beds where patients who need to be kept separately are cared for.
In our unit, 4 experienced anaesthesiology and reanimation specialists, a total of 18 intensive care nurses, one of whom is in charge, 5 auxiliary health personnel, 1 intensive care secretary, physiotherapist support and 15 respiratory devices provide 24-hour uninterrupted service.
In our intensive care unit, we work in cooperation with cardiology, chest diseases, internal medicine, neurology, neurology, general surgery, orthopaedics, urology and neurosurgery departments to follow up and treat our patients completely.
In addition, we sometimes take patients who have been operated on in the operating theatre, who have undergone major, risky surgery and comorbidities to our unit, follow them as long as necessary, and take them to the ward after their general condition returns to normal.
Intensive care units are difficult places for patients, their relatives and even the staff. However, they are indispensable units for every hospital.
Thanks to our fully equipped intensive care unit, we carry out the follow-up and treatment of our patients safely with the support of our fellow physicians.
